After having received 2 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19, Moroccan authorities started this Monday supplying several regions of the Kingdom with the precious vials of coronavirus vaccine ahead of unrolling the immunization campaign. About 3000 vaccine sites have been fitted with all necessary equipment and 25,531 health workers have been mobilized for the vaccination campaign to start this week and last for nearly three months. The North African Kingdom has ordered 66 million vaccine doses for the immunization of 33 million inhabitants against the Coronavirus. Actually, King Mohammed VI ordered his government last September to make the vaccine free of charge for all citizens and residents over 18 years of age. In Morocco, Covid-19 has so far infected 466,289 people, killed 8150 while 442,441 others have recovered.
