The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised US citizens not to travel to Tunisia which is categorized Level 4 (Very High Level of COVID-19). “Travelers should avoid all travel to Tunisia,” CDC said on its web page. “Because of the current situation in Tunisia even fully vaccinated travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants and should avoid all travel to Tunisia,” it added. The CDC’s travel directives come as Morocco suspends all flights to and from Tunisia because of increase in the number of contaminations. The kingdom said Tuesday it would halt from as of April 15 all flights to and from Tunisia.
