MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Saturday logged 51 total cases of coronavirus disease, including 11 active cases, after one of its employees from Bills and Index Service tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement, House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales said the 51st case was confined to the hospital for pneumonia but is under stable condition. He is in stable condition,” Montales said. Contact tracing for the infected worker is ongoing, Montales added. As of August 21, the Philippines has a total of 182,365 cases of COVID-19.
