MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported Friday that 142 more patients died of COVID-19 complications. The additional fatalities brought the total to 48,017 patients, who represent 1.70 percent of all the 2.83 million confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country. ADVERTISEMENTThe DOH has so far recorded over 4,800 deaths due to COVID-19 this November. However, the health agency earlier explained that deaths reported in its daily case bulletin include fatalities from the previous months. Of the active cases, 14.2 percent are severe and 6.1 percent are critical that are at higher risk for death.
