Egypt’s Health Ministry on Wednesday confirmed 641 new coronavirus cases, down from 648 on Tuesday. The ministry also reported 40 deaths and 520 recovered cases. Egypt has now reported 197,350 confirmed cases, 151,444 recovered cases, and 11,720 deaths. The Health Ministry is currently working to vaccinate medical staff, people over the age of 65, and those with chronic illnesses. Egypt is currently using China’s Sinopharm vaccine for its campaign will soon receive a shipment of six million doses of the UK’s AstraOxford vaccine.
