Egypt’s Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed 644 new coronavirus cases, up from 641 on Wednesday. The ministry also reported 44 deaths and 431 recovered cases. The country has now reported 190,924 confirmed cases, 147,234 recovered cases, and 11,300 deaths. Egypt is currently using China’s Sinopharm vaccine for its campaign and has received doses of the UK’s AstraOxford vaccine. AstraOxford and Sputnik-V received emergency approval from the Egyptian Drug Authority on February 24.
