KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): Credit rating agency CTOS Digital Bhd and consumer financing firm RCE Capital Bhd are among 33 new entries in Securities Commission Malaysia (SC)'s shariah-compliant securities list. The updated list of shariah-compliant securities listed on Bursa Malaysia will come into effect on Friday (Nov 26). "Thirty-three securities, newly classified by the SAC as shariah-compliant securities, have been added to the list and 25 securities have been excluded from the previous list,” the regulator said. Besides CTOS and RCE, the newly-classified shariah-compliant securities are Ace Innovate Asia Bhd, Advance Information Marketing Bhd, Benalec Holdings Bhd, Carzo Holdings Bhd, CEKD Bhd, Ecomate Holdings Bhd, ES Ceramics Technology Bhd, Farlim Group (M) Bhd, Green Packet Bhd, Haily Group Bhd, ICT Zone Asia Bhd, IJM Plantations Bhd, KNM Group Bhd, Leon Fuat Bhd, Lysaght Galvanized Steel Bhd, Nestcon Bhd, NTMP Holdings Bhd, Parkwood Holdings Bhd, Pekat Group Bhd, Pensonic Holdings Bhd, RTS Technology Bhd, SHL Consolidated Bhd, Southern Cable Group Bhd, Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd, TAS Offshore Bhd, Tasco Bhd, Techbond Group Bhd, Tiong Nam Logistics Holdings Bhd, Turiya Bhd, Wang-Zheng Bhd and YB Ventures Bhd. It added that there were 751 shariah-compliant securities out of all 948 listed companies on Bursa Malaysia as at Nov 22.
