Nursing home workers protest outside Social Development Minister Dorothy Shephard's constituency office in Saint John on Monday. The midday protests took place as talks between the New Brunswick Council of Nursing Home Unions, represented by CUPE, and the New Brunswick Association of Nursing Homes resumed in Fredericton. Dorothy Shephard, the minister of social development, says she's heartened to see talks between the union and association of nursing homes have resumed.
