PUTRAJAYA: The government is set to review work-from-home (WFH) arrangements for the public sector, with a final decision after a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, says Datuk Fahmi Fadzil. “The Prime Minister has requested that the Chief Secretary and the Director-General of Public Service examine the WFH proposals to ensure several matters are properly aligned. “The outcome of these discussions will be deliberated and decided upon during the meeting next Tuesday,” he said during a press briefing here yesterday after a special Cabinet meeting. He said the Prime Minister has directed all ministries and their respective ministers to initiate immediate “engagement sessions” with industry players under their purview. “The findings will be presented to the Cabinet on Tuesday and industry representatives will also be invited to brief the National Economic Action Council at its upcoming meeting.”
