California: Tropical Storm Hilary brought about intense flash floods both to the east and west of Los Angeles on Sunday. The storm’s significant entry into California occurred after it had surged through Mexico’s Baja California peninsula with lethal intensity. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) stated that the hurricane was getting weak as it headed to the west-central coast of the peninsula on Saturday evening. It was predicted that the natural calamity would lose more strength and turn into a tropical storm as it heads towards Southern California on Saturday. Hilary moved north northwest around 27 Km per hour, packing maximum sustained winds of 100 mph (161 kph), the National Hurricane Center (NHC) stated.
