A Southern California woman tried to protect her dog from a mountain lion that wandered into her backyard on Thursday by punching the wild cat in the face and prying its jaws open in an attempt to save her pet. “As she was walking out the door, she saw the mountain lion, and the dog charged the mountain lion and the mountain lion bit the dog," Brian, who declined to provide his last name, told Fox LA.
