Last week, Activision and Sledgehammer Games announced Call of Duty: WWII, a new game heading back to the global conflict that started the series way back in 2003. The full reveal comes tomorrow, April 26, at 1 p.m. EDT. As I mentioned, Call of Duty was a World War 2 franchise to begin with, but many only know it for its explosive popularity following 2007's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I'm sure some current Call of Duty fans were barely out of diapers when that one came out. And so it seems that Call of Duty: World War 2 aims to take advantage of nostalgia for some gamers and novelty for others.
