Calls On Students To Take Serious Advantage -

The University of Liberia Student Union (ULSU) has lauded the Board of Trustees of the University of Liberia (UL) for being receptive to the plights of the students by reopening the registration process at the university. The Administration of the University of Liberia (UL) recently closed the registration for the 2017/2018 academic after what it calls meeting the deadline, a decision that was vehemently rejected by the students of the school. According to the statistic, if the decision had not been reversed, over 15,000 students would have been out school this semester. Bernard said although they begged for additional one month during their meetings, but they welcomed the three weeks and therefore asked all students involved to take advantage and act accordingly. However, Bernard said ULSU categorically condemned what he calls Dr. Ophelia Weeks, president of the university ‘mistreatment and undue pain’ students were subjected to by her ‘autocratic and authoritarian posture’ taken purposely to run out of school, thousands of those he calls ‘struggling students.
