The Harley Street bridge project is due for completion in April 2019. There have already been calls to name the bridge after Frank O'Connor or Sean O Faolain, while there have several proposals for the bridge to be named after an iconic Cork woman, such as Mary Elmes, as just one city bridge - Nano Nagle Bridge - is named in honour of a female at present.
