Brian Barry-Murphy says Cardiff City may not sign anybody before Monday's transfer deadline despite links with Liverpool youngster Calum Scanlon. Cardiff have been looking for a left-back to provide competition for Joel Bagan and 20-year-old Scanlon has emerged as a potential target for the League One leaders. But when asked about a possible move for Scanlon, Barry-Murphy cast doubt over whether Cardiff will make any further signings in this transfer window. "Obviously I know Calum from Liverpool," the Bluebirds head coach said. "But it's getting late in the window and when it gets this late, we can't have any guarantees or any certainty that anybody will come to the club before the window shuts on Monday."
