ORLANDO, Fla. – Three weeks ago, the thought of playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational hadn’t even crossed Roger Sloan’s mind. After regaining his PGA Tour card this season for the first time since 2015, Sloan’s past three weeks look like this: T2, T30, T23. “I’m Canadian, so I’m gritty,” Sloan joked. Sloan does not qualify for next week’s Player’s championship, but is hoping to play in two weeks at the Valspar Championship. “I’m ecstatic with where we’re at and I’m going to enjoy a week off,” Sloan said.
