Shortly after the Canadiens named Shea Weber as the 30th captain in franchise history Monday morning, his teammates hit the ice for an 11 a.m. practice in Brossard and Andrew Shaw was among them. “When I had the surgery, I was told 5-6 months — but always precautionary that they say six,” Shaw said after practice. “I’m ready to play,” Shaw added. … I think I’m in one of the best physical shapes I’ve probably been in. The Canadiens will then visit the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night (7 p.m., CITY, TVA Sports, TSN 690 Radio).
