KUALA LUMPUR (April 8): Capitaland Malaysia Trust’s (KL:CLMT) manager, CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management Sdn Bhd, said CLMT MTN Bhd, a special purpose vehicle wholly owned by CLMT via MTrustee Bhd as the trustee, has lodged documents with the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for a proposed medium-term note (MTN) programme of up to RM3 billion. The lodgement was made on Wednesday under the SC’s Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products pursuant to the Lodge and Launch Framework. "The MTN programme has a perpetual tenure, allowing multiple issuances provided the aggregate outstanding nominal value does not exceed RM3 billion. "Each issuance may be structured as rated or unrated, secured or unsecured, and the programme allows for sustainability or sustainability-linked MTNs," CLMT said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia. Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd is the appointed principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager, and facility agent for the programme.
