Police and other emergency services attend a car that caught fire on the Tinakori off-ramp on Thursday. A car has caught on fire on Wellington motorway’s Tinakori off-ramp in an apparent road rage incident. A witness told Stuff he saw a car being doused with flammable liquid before the car caught fire shortly before midday on Thursday. An altercation ensued after the two vehicles collided and culminated in the male occupant of the red Mazda spraying the other vehicle with a fluid that subsequently caught fire. The witness said the man and a woman in the Mazda drove away soon after.
