Officials from the DVLA have combed through all possible letter and number combos with the new 20 and 70-plates in an attempt to stop any problem plates from hitting the roads. Dozens have been stopped, including 20 HEL, PR20 ZZY and FF20 KER, as well as SC20 TUM and VA70 GNA. Other registrations that got banned earlier this year include BU20 GER, A20 RSE and M20 RON. Dozens managed to slip the net with drivers managing to bag plates including ME69 LOL, ME69 GAG, ME69 PSE, LV69 JZZ, BG69 WLY, SX69 DNG, The Sun reports.
