But it has been announced today that campsites and caravan parks will finally reopen on July 4. Yesterday, there were fears that sites with shared facilities for showers and washing up would not be able to reopen. The British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BHHPA) joined forces with the Camping and Caravan Club and Caravan and Motorhome Club in a bid to seek answers. Now parks and campsites in Northern Ireland are set to reopen on June 26.
