On the east coast thunderstorms are expected to smash areas of New South Wales while flood warnings are in place across much of Queensland. 'The catastrophic fire warnings have been issued for the southern interior of Western Australia,' Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Dean Narramore told the Daily Mail Australia. 'Severe thunderstorms for northeastern parts of New South Wales as well as the Mid North Coast, Central Coast and Newcastle are also forecast,' Mr Narramore said. Flash flood warnings have been issued for the Thomson River, Fitzroy River Catchment, Herbert River, Beelyando and Suttor Rivers, Murray River, Tully River, and Lower Paroo River. SOUTH AUSTRALIACompared with the chaotic weather conditions across the rest of the country, South Australia's forecast is some what mild.
