Photo: PTIChennai: Karnataka registered vehicles were vandalised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, and a driver was threatened on Monday by Naam Tamilar party workers, according to the Asian News International (ANI). A video footage by Tamil news channel, Puthiya Thalaimurai, showed the party workers raising anti-Karnataka slogans and attacking the tourist vehicles. Police said that about 10 members entered the hotel around 3.45am and allegedly damaged the tables and window panels in the hotel. Also a threat note left by the alleged attackers in the hotel claimed if Tamils in Karnataka are attacked, a reciprocal action will follow. The modified order comes after the Karnataka government on Saturday sought an urgent hearing over the Cauvery water dispute.
