CEBU CITY –– City Mayor Edgardo Labella is taking a three-week leave of absence starting Wednesday, June 9, to attend to his health. “Now that the (COVID-19) cases in the city have dwindled, I decided to heed my doctors’ advice,” he added. In Labella’s absence, Vice Mayor Michael Rama will serve as acting mayor for the next three weeks. Labella also designated City Administrator Floro Casas, Jr. to keep all operations running in City Hall. Through this, I will just be in the City of Cebu,” Labella said.
