Residents at a care home in Windsor welcomed a celebrity guest to celebrate its fifth anniversary. Television presenter and radio broadcaster Gloria Hunniford surprised residents at Care UK’s Mountbatten Grange care home to mark the milestone. During her visit to the Helston Lane care home, Gloria spent time with both residents and members of the team. She took a tour of the home before tucking into a homemade afternoon tea and helping to cut the birthday cake. “Gloria didn’t rush in talking and she was very interested in the conversations she was having with us.”Debbie Winwood, home manager at Mountbatten Grange, said: “We are all big fans of Gloria Hunniford here at Mountbatten Grange, and the residents were thrilled to have her join in their celebrations.
