The game of the weekend lived up to its hype as Celtic gunned down 10-man Motherwell to pick up a crucial 3-1 win at Parkhead. Many fancied Motherwell to deal some damage to Martin O'Neill's title hopes in this one and it initially looked as if they were going to do just that. They took the lead through Elijah Just in a frantic first half who hammered into the bottom corner after Celtic were caught in possession deep in their own half. The game really turned in Celtic's favour with 20 minutes remaining when Emmanuel Longelo hauled Daizen Maeda down at the back post from a corner. And when Yang slammed in a third ten minutes from time, it was virtually game over for Jens Berthel Askou's team.
