(Photo: ruamkatanyufoundation)SAMUT PRAKAN – A cement mixer truck crashed through the barrier of a U-turn bridge and plunged onto the Bangna-Trat Highway (Theparat Road) on Friday afternoon, blocking two lanes of traffic and leaving its driver critically injured. The white-and-red Hino ten-wheel cement mixer, registered in Bangkok, was found badly mangled and blocking two lanes after falling from a the U-turn bridge on the Chon Buri-bound side of the road. A red Toyota Yaris, which was travelling in the left lane at the time, sustained front-end damage after debris and a drum from the falling truck struck it. The motorist told investigators he saw something falling from above before the truck crashed down in front of him.
