WASHINGTON—The Census Bureau said Sunday that a field employee has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. It is also delaying some in-person response assistance for the 2020 questionnaire. The employee is a home-based worker who is now in quarantine, census spokesman Michael Cook said. He wouldn’t disclose the location of the worker but said the person didn’t work out of the census headquarters in suburban Washington, which remains open for employees.
