Photo: Kerrie WaterworthRecord highs could be on the way for parts of Central Otago as a high pressure system settles over the region this week. Mr Bell said the average temperature for Wanaka in November in the previous decade was 18.6degC. The highest temperature on record was 26.9degC in 1997 so if it did reach 27 on Wednesday and Thursday ''we are into record highs", he said.
