A twin-engine plane crashed Tuesday morning into a home in a suburban New Jersey town and burst into flames that ignited the house, federal officials said. The Cessna 414 crashed into the home in Colonia around 11 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration. A local official said that no one on the ground was injured, and that only the pilot was aboard the plane. The plane had come from Virginia and was headed to Linden, N.J., John McCormac, the mayor of Woodbridge Township, N.J., said near the scene of the crash on Berkley Avenue. Woodbridge Township includes Colonia.
