The spacecraft launched on July 14 and, after looping through several Earth orbits, headed towards the moon's orbit on August 1 via slingshot. The remaining gap between Chandrayaan-3 and the moonOn 5th August, the orbit of Chandrayaan 3 was changed for the third time. The orbit of Chandrayaan-3, which is approximately 153 km by 163 km in size, had its fourth modification on August 16.
