The university’s guidelines on gender expression and identity require staff members to use the preferred pronouns of trans staff and students. “Every effort should be made to ensure that you use the identified preferred pronoun... This would require teachers to undergo mandatory training on inclusion for LGBT and trans students. The Equal Status Acts 2000-2018 prohibit discrimination on the ground of gender, which typically covers trans and non-binary people.
