Chaos erupted at the Nyandarua County Assembly on Tuesday, May 25 as a group of youth forced their way into the premises in the company of embattled Speaker Ndegwa Wahome. Wahome was reinstated by the High Court in late April after being impeached for a second time by a section of Nyandarua MCAs. During the Tuesday mayhem, the pro-Wahome group destroyed the main gate to allow Wahome gain access to his office. Police disperse a rowdy mob that tried to force their way to Nyandarua County Assembly. [Kipsang Joseph, Standard]Five ward representatives supporting Wahome were denied access to the County Assembly.
