The Chargers were able to keep Brandon Mebane, though, agreeing to terms on a two-year contract with the defensive tackle. Mebane, 34, has played the last three seasons with the Chargers and started in all 38 games he was available. He had suffered a season-ending biceps injury at the end of the 2016 season. Last season he finished with 40 tackles in 12 games, having missed four games to attend to his ill daughter who eventually passed away.
