Premier League clubs are set to be involved in a landmark vote to ban loan moves for players between associated clubs, according to reports. Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle United would be among those impacted by proposed changes that would come into effect in January. According to The Athletic, the next Premier League shareholders’ meeting will involve all 20 clubs voting to fast-track a ban on the loans in the winter transfer window. Many Premier League sides operate as part of a multi-club model, including Chelsea, Man City and Newcastle. The 26-year-old signed for Al Hilal from Wolves in the same transfer window as one of numerous high-profile players to join the Saudi Pro League revolution.
