Chelsea are reportedly set to step up their pursuit of Leeds United star Tyler Adams this week. Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to bolster his midfield ranks this summer and getting fresh faces through the door is quickly becoming a priority at Stamford Bridge. Pochettino began the summer by prioritising outgoings, both to reduce the size of his squad and also to raise funds. Pochettino is keen to build a new-look midfield around Enzo Fernandez over the next few weeks, with Adams highlighted as a target. According to The Athletic, the Blues will accelerate their pursuit of Adams ‘this week’ and are expected to table an opening offer for his services imminently.
