The 24-year-old joined the club 18 months ago and hit 17 goals in his first full season in the Bundesliga, which has alerted Chelsea. The former Liverpool man has 12 months to run on his contract on the south coast but he’s intimated he will not sign an extension as he’s keen on joining a Champions League club.
