Chelsea fans have been left angry after the Blues’ official Twitter account teased a new signing - only to reveal the club have secured Three to be their shirt sponsor from next season. But the new ‘signing’ Chelsea have made isn’t the type they’ve been hoping for, with the mobile network simply paying to have their brand emblazoned on the their shirts from the start of the 2020/21 campaign. Chelsea tweeted: "You wait 24 days for a signing and then Three come along at once!" "You've got to be f**king kidding me," wrote one Chelsea fan dismayed by the Blues’ post on Friday afternoon. Another, equally unimpressed by what they’d just read, wrote: "Shouldn’t really be making fun out of ‘New Signings.’"
