KARACHI : A child was dead and four others sustained burns after a fire erupted in a flat due to an explosion of gas cylinder, Dunya News reported here on Saturday. The fire erupted after a massive explosion in a flat in North Nazimabad near Haidery. According to an initial report, a child was dead and four others including a woman sustained burns, who were sent to hospital. Reports said the fire took place after the blast of a gas cylinder. The explosion was heard in remote areas, which spread panic in the locality, forcing residents to come out of their houses.
