The Bangla Academy authorities have arranged a “Childrens’ Hour” (Shishu Prohor) to make the month long fair more attractive for children, on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm, at the children's corner of the fair. The ambassador and his partner greeted children and their parents at the Sisimpur themed reading corner for children. Sisimpur characters perform and greet children three times during the children's hour every week at Shishu Chottor in Suhrawardy Udyan. New bookA book titled Apotti Shotteo, a compilation of 20 rhymes written in satire form, was launched yesterday at the fair.
