PETALING JAYA: China will be contributing 500,000 CoronaVac doses to Malaysia, says Wisma Putra. Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic) said he had received a message from China's State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is his counterpart, about the contribution. (CoronaVac refers to the name of the Covid-19 vaccine produced by biopharmaceutical company Sinovac.) “Malaysia is highly appreciative of the invaluable support extended thus far by the People’s Republic of China. “This timely contribution will bolster the vaccination process and assist the ongoing rollout of Malaysia’s National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
