China and Tunisia signed Tuesday inked a grant deal valued at around $14.2 million (TND40 million) earmarked for the financing of projects in the North African country. The deal did not detail projects to be determined by both countries, Webdo Tunis reports. The new grant follows China’s donation of 200,000 doses of Sinovac; one of Chinese covid-19 vaccines. Jiang pledged Beijing’s support to Tunisia in coping with socio-economic downturns of the pandemic including supply of medical equipment.
