A giant screen in Beijing shows a news report on China’s “Justice Mission 2025” military drills around Taiwan on Dec. 30. The Chinese Ministry of National Defense did not respond to a request for comment. China’s daily military activities around Taiwan have been maintained during Cheng’s China visit. Yesterday, the Ministry of National Defense reported seven Chinese military aircraft operating around the nation in the previous 24 hours, as well as seven warships.
