The Chinese Ministry of National Defense did not respond to a request for comment. China’s daily military activities around Taiwan have been maintained during Cheng’s China visit. Yesterday, the Ministry of National Defense reported seven Chinese military aircraft operating around the nation in the previous 24 hours, as well as seven warships.
