(Photo: Phuket immigration police)PHUKET - A 32-year-old Chinese national wanted in his country on fraud charges involving losses of more than 5 million baht has been arrested in the Patong area of this island province. Immigration officers arrested the suspect, identified only as Wang, at a condominium in Patong, Pol Col Charoenphong Khantilo, spokesman for Immigration Division 6, said on Thursday. The suspect was wanted on a warrant issued by the Ministry of Public Security in Shenyang, China, on charges of contract fraud. A team of officers, led by Pol Lt Col Adisorn Boonchum, Phuket immigration inspector, then moved in to arrest him.
