The South Somerset Good Afternoon Choir and the Somerton Concert Band will perform together on Saturday, March 29, at Wincanton Memorial Hall at 3pm. The Somerton Concert Band are known for performing a mix of classical pieces, show tunes, military marches, and original works. The South Somerset Good Afternoon Choir is led by conductor Ruth Jenkins, with Clare Sydenham joining as guest accompanist for the performance. The Good Afternoon Choirs were founded 17 years ago by Bath-based musician Grenville Jones. It will be a great afternoon of song and music for the choir who very much look forward to welcoming Somerton Concert Band to entertain you."
