Chopped body of unidentified man found in two bags near a temple in Najafgarh

A decomposed body of a man, chopped into pieces and stuffed in two travel bags, was found in an open field behind a temple in outer Delhi’s Najafgarh on Saturday morning. One of the bags contained the torso of the victim’s body. The other body parts, including private parts, were found wrapped in a plastic polythene and stuffed in the other bag, said police. Police suspect that the man, possibly in his mid 30s, was murdered somewhere else and his body was later cut into pieces, stuffed into two bags and then dumped in an open field near a wall on the backside of Sai Temple in Najafgarh. MN Tiwari, deputy commissioner of police (outer), said the matter came to light when a passerby spotted two red travel bags lying near a wall behind the temple and raised an alarm.
