Sky Sports have hit out at the SFA after accusing them of BLOCKING their bid to mic up Hibs boss Nick Montgomery during the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road. SFA sources have told Record Sport that the innovative move collapsed due to an IFAB law which prohibits ‘electronic communication’ involving players and coaching staff. However, Sky Sports anchor Eilidh Barbour pinned the blame on Hampden chiefs as Sky Sports started their live coverage from Leith. But for whatever reason the SFA blocked it. A team official who uses unauthorised equipment or who behaves in an inappropriate manner as a result of the use of electronic or communication equipment will be sent off."
