Short of the first graders in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting almost four years ago, I can’t imagine a more sweeter or gentler group than gay men. And gay men partying into the dawn? Some of my friends didn’t come out until they were 30; one of them, only about 30 now, came out when he was 15 or 16. But still, gay men have always seemed to me unusually kind. Like a lot of women, I know a lot of gay men, and count many as friends.
