TORONTO — A female teacher at Pickering College, a prestigious private co-ed school in Newmarket, Ont., had an inappropriate relationship with two male students, one that turned sexual and appears to have lasted for 18 months. This is despite the fact that both the teacher and the boy lived on campus, Wilson as one of 10 resident staff, the boy as an international boarding student. The parent said because the school was less than forthcoming, it was left to the students to answer their parents’ questions. In his statement to the Post, Sturrup said Student 2’s parents “were notified in a telephone conversation” with him “immediately upon completion of the investigation. They did attend graduation.”He didn’t say how Student 1’s parents were notified, or answer any questions about how they reacted.
