Monrovia – The ruling Unity Party in Liberia today accused the sitting President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of directly interfering in the ongoing presidential and legislative elections. Now frustrated and angered, many of those disenfranchised have vowed not to vote in any scheduled presidential election runoff. “The president’s conduct was an act of intimidation and inducement, especially since some commissioners of the National Elections Commission had warned Chairman Jerome Kokorya against Election Magistrates meeting President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf. That this is happening under a president that has benefited from two (2) democratic elections is inconceivable. Let Liberians and not President Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf, decide who their next president should be.
